If I ever decide to NOT renew my subscription, then I'll reinstall my Quicken 2017 version, update using the available Mondo patch to the next to last update and just use that. I have used the Quicken products since the 1990s. So far, the subscription data file is compatible with Q20. It is very easy to use and easily keeps me aware of the budgets, balances and provides financial reports and more. Buying it from eBay was less expensive by 1/2 than from Intuit directly. For now, at least.īut, I use the Tax Planner and muddle through Quicken's shitty Lifetime Planner, so I'm OK paying for the subscription. Well first off, the dorks at Quicken Inc haven't even updated the planner to reflect the new updated Required Minimum Distribution for retirement accounts. Plus there's other inaccuracies that make the planner less than accurate.
